1.) I'm new to the tribe. How can I make a wholesale account? Welcome! Click below to request a wholesale account. We will approve your request within one business day.
2. )What is the minimum order size? Our wholesale order minimum is $60 for our standard Friday delivery, with no minimum for pick-up or same-day courier delivery. If you are unable to select a shipping option at checkout this indicates that you haven't met the order minimum.
3.) If we get the same thing every week, can we make it automatic? You bet. By selecting the "Subscribe & Save" option beneath a product, you receive a 5% savings off our wholesale prices.
The online system must have a credit card on file to automatically process subscriptions. If you prefer Net 15 terms just give us a call and we'll work it out.
4.) Can you deliver on days other than Fridays? We now offer same-day courier delivery, priced based on your zip code. Place your order between before 4pm Monday-Saturday and you'll see an option for same-day delivery via local courier. You must be present to receive your order and you will be notified by email when your order is out for delivery. If you would like to schedule an order for a future delivery date by courier, please simply indicate your preferred delivery date and time in the delivery notes box at checkout. You may need to press the back button on your browser to get back to the delivery notes box if you have already entered your address.
5.) Do you have enough produce in stock to fill my order? We update our online inventory every day. What you see is what we have!
We'll do our best to keep things updated and estimate our harvest yields, but as you know from working with farmers there may be times we when aren't able to harvest exactly as much as planned. If this happens we'll get in touch right away to let you know and find a substitute if possible or correct your order.
6.) Why are so many items out of stock? Two possibilities: someone beat you to it and we're sold out for the week, or the item you've selected must be grown-to-order (eg. edible centerpieces, rarely-ordered microgreens). You can still order them, just get in touch with us and we'll work out the dates they'll be ready for you.
7.) Why can't I order microgreens by the ounce? Microgreens vary widely in weight and size, so an ounce of a very fine variety contains far more individual microgreens than an ounce of a sturdier variety. To avoid confusion we pack two standard size recyclable clamshells by volume so you get a more consistent portion across varieties.
A small clamshell holds approximately 1.5-2 oz by weight. A large clamshell holds approximately 3-4 oz by weight. You may always request larger bulk quantities and volume discounts by contacting us directly.
8.) Store Hours, Pick-up and Delivery: Orders must be placed by Thursday at 10am for Friday delivery. Orders placed after 10am on Thursday will be processed for delivery the following week. Friday deliveries will take place between approximately 7am-2pm. Our delivery rate is $9 within the District of Colombia for any order size.
If you select on-farm pick-up (at our Georgetown location) you can expect your order to be ready by the following business day. You will get an email confirmation when your order is ready for pick-up. Orders will be held for 24 hours only.
